We are pleased to inform you that SINE has relocated its office to new Centre of Excellence of Department of Science and Technology (DST) - Rahul Bajaj Technology Innovation Centre (RBTIC).


The new facility will also house other initiatives of BIRAC, MeitY and aggregate all other initiatives. This expansion is built on SINE's past success with enhanced capabilities with an aim to bring startups under one roof and providing them with a more modern, comfortable, and efficient workspace that aligns with their vision for the future. Our new office space has been carefully selected to foster creativity, collaboration, and productivity.

Gupshup, an AI conversational platform, launched Domain-Specific ACE LLM, a family of domain-specific Large Language Models (LLMs). It generates text in 100+ languages such as Spanish, Portuguese, French, German, and English among other languages.

Safe Security, a cyber security startup, launched Industry’s first implementation of the FAIR Materiality Assessment Model (FAIR-MAM™) for Assessing Material Cyber Risk.

InspeCity, a spacetech startup, has secured the distinguished "Spacetech Startup of the Year" award from Entrepreneur India. Also, the startup participated in month-long space-tech startup program conducted by TAcc+. As a part of program, they showcased their product at Taipai Aerospace & Defence Technology Exhibition held in Taipei for three days.

 

 

TriNano Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a solar energy startup, has been selected as finalist for Hello Tomorrow APAC Challenge 2023 event that was held in Singapore.

Events & Workshops
SINE conducted several IP Clinic Sessions for the benefits of startups. The sessions talked about significance of FTO, and PCT filing for technologies and IP as an asset for attracting investments.
 
 
SINE conducted nine guidance sessions of BIG'23 call for application for innovators. Moreover, SINE conducted  QnA sessions to answer participants queries and doubts. These sessions have significant value for innovators looking for funding support such as BIG.

 

The G-20, RIIG Summit & Research Ministers’ meeting held at Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB). Ministers and Delegates spoke about SINE’s activities and the IITB innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem. During the event SINE showcased the positive impact created by SINE in the Indian startup ecosystem.

SINE conducted onboarding session for innovators under prototyping grant and fellowship support of Department of Science and Technology (DST) & Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY). The objective of the event was to provide them with an orientation to SINE and its facilities, the completion of a milestone, the signing of an agreement, and introductions to SINE team members.

SINE partner Boeing has officially launched BUILD 3.0. The event was organised at Bangalore. SINE and other partnered incubators attended the event.

SINE in partnership with AWS – Amazon Web Services organised a physical event for early stage startups. The session talked about AWS Startup program which helps founders to build-launch-scale their business.

SINE in collaboration with Sapio Analytics & Technology Think Tank, Government of India (TIFAC), hosted roundtable event on how to shape the policies of India, and create a Technology Vision for 2047 (100th year of India's independence). It was an opportunity for startups to get their voice heard by policy making centres.

The event was joined by startup and industry leaders and moderated by IIT Bombay alumnus Ashwin Srivastava, founder of Sapio Analytics.

SINE hosted a roundtable discussion on a national initiative in clean/green technology innovation that is being developed jointly by NITI Aayog and DPIIT-Startup India, with the help of The World Bank. The Global Innovation team from The World Bank visited SINE to engaged with our Incubated Startups and Partner Investors to discuss on how to accelerate the development of the Early Stage Startups ecosystem in the clean/green technology sectors in India.

 
SINE organized one-on-one meetings with investor and our incubated startups that are looking to raise funds.
Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers Association (IEEMA) organized a panel discussion on Startup Ecosystem. Ms. Poyni Bhatt, CEO, SINE IIT Bombay joined as a panelist to discuss on Startup Ecosystem: Insights from the Experts.
SINE had a corporate engagement with Cummins India and Toyota Tsusho India. Also, the corporates interacted with SINE incubated startups.
