SINE was delighted to host Mr. Wally Adeyemo, Deputy Secretary, U.S Department of the Treasury and senior members of US Consulate. The Deputy Secretary visited SINE and had a round table interaction with entrepreneurs and student innovators. Prof Subhasis Chaudhuri, Director of IIT Bombay (IITB) and SINE's Professor in Charge, Prof Santosh Gharpure presented about the contribution of IITB Innovations to the startup ecosystem.
The Deputy Secretary was very positive about entrepreneurial synergies between India and the US. |

The 4-week online program aims to broaden participants’ thinking from a technology-centric mindset to a venture-centric perspective of doing business. Various functional aspects of business are explained to budding entrepreneurs by industry experts and seasoned entrepreneurs. |

Alkem Laboratories Ltd. an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company interacted with 7 SINE healthcare startups to explore synergies.
Technology Development Board (TDB) conducted an awareness session of funding opportunities for commercialization and scaling.
Newly joined faculty members of IIT Bombay were oriented about entrepreneurship related opportunities and ecosystem offered by SINE.
Department Of Science And Technology (DST), Govt of India, appointed Project Management Committee (PMC) for its NIDHI – PRAYAS & EIR programs, evaluated over two days 32 Technology Business Incubators for implementing PRAYAS & EIR programs across the country. PRAYAS is a prototype support grant initiative and EIR is monthly fellowship grant program of DST for innovators and entrepreneurs.

PARTNERSHIPS
SINE signed an MoU with Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL). Through their open innovation program, startups in the mobility space get an opportunity to undertake a paid pilot with MSIL. SINE with its expertise in startups and venture creation aims to identify highly innovative deeptech startups that have the potential to transform the automotive industry.

Sixteen Technology Solutions Providers (TSP), signed agreements under Powerthon 2022 in an event organised in Delhi. These TSPs working on cutting-edge technologies in the Power sector will be executing pilots with 12 DISCOMs for the next 4 months.
SINE is the implementing partner of Powerthon 2022, an Initiative under the Revamped Distribution Sector Scheme (RDSS) by the Ministry of Power, Govt of India to enable advanced technologies in power distribution.

Plugin Alliance, the industry technology alliance of which SINE and Intel India are the founding members expanded to 85 members. By leveraging SINE MoU with Indian bank, 6 startups who were looking for debt funding support were recommended to Indian Bank out of which one received the funding and others are being processed. |

SINE in partnership with Boeing India opened applications for Boeing University Innovation Leadership Development Program (BUILD) for early-stage entrepreneurs. It is a unique industry-leading program for the entire spectrum of student-to-startup community, helping accelerate the entire startup ecosystem in the country.
