SINE graduate company ideaForge Technology Pvt. Ltd., co-founded in 2007 by IIT Bombay Alumni Ankit Mehta, Rahul Singh and Ashish Bhat has filed for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) for 750 cr. ideaForge is a global technology leader in the VTOL Micro and Mini UAV space. They are the market leader in defence and homeland security in the UAV segment with more than 90% market share in India.

 

Indra Water, a cleantech startup working on electrically driven, decentralized wastewater treatment solution, raised funding from HCLTech. 

Babblebots.ai, a HRTech startup, that provides fully conversational voice bot used for recruitment and talent acquisition, raised funding from Angel investors.

 

Reticulo Sport Technology, a sports analytics startup, received grant support  from DST NIDHI-EIR and TIH Foundation  for IoT and IoE (TIH-IoT) at IIT-Bombay for development and prototyping of Reticulo Studio analytics platform.

Simutomy MedTech Pvt. Ltd., a simulation & AI startup, received Rs. 20 lakhs under MeitY x Meta's XR Startup Program at GUSEC.

Haystack Analytics Pvt. Ltd., in collaboration with Godrej Memorial Hospital, a multi-specialty healthcare centre and a beneficiary of the Pirojsha Godrej Foundation, has introduced India’s first comprehensive  genome testing called Health Genometer Smart Plan. The genome test identifies an individual’s predisposition to over 150 conditions and genetic traits. 

 

 

 

Liger Mobility Pvt Ltd, automotive startup, unveiled the world’s first auto-balancing electric scooter at the Auto expo 2023.

 

 

EmerTech Innovations Pvt. Ltd., Vacus tech Pvt. Ltd., and Pupilmesh Pvt. Ltd., got selected for Catapult Cohort 3 by Mahindra Logistics. They will work alongside Mahindra Logistics on cutting-edge logistics solutions.

 

PupilMesh Pvt. Ltd., augmented reality startup exhibited their wearable display systems at Aero India 2023. The team hosted dignitaries such as DRDO Chairman, Vice Chief of Army staff and Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty.

 

Haystack Analytics Pvt. Ltd., a health-tech startup, won the 13th edition of Aegis Graham Bell Award (AGBA) under the category - Innovative Diagnostics.

Albatross Energetics., a thermal engineering and technology startup, is among the top 40 startups selected globally for the second annual Mission for the Future program conducted by the LG Electronics North American Innovation Center – LG NOVA.

The India-Japan Space Industrial Cooperation Session was held at SINE in collaboration with the National Space Policy Secretariat under Cabinet Office of Japan and Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA).

 

The event included an awareness session  about S-Booster Official, a flagship SpaceTech Startup Accelerator for early-stage startups presentations by Japanese Industry, and a panel discussion on the Startup Ecosystem and Internationalization opportunities for startups in India and Japan.

A Corporate Startup Mixer was organized by SINE, where corporates and startups got an opportunity to interact and engage with each other.  

 

23 corporate partners of SINE and 61 SINE Startups attended the event.  Participating corporates shared their various startup engagement initiatives followed by interactions and networking over dinner.

 

 

Emergy Enviro Pvt. Ltd., a cleanTech startup, and TriNano Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a solar energy startup, showcased their products at the E-Summit’23 Expo by the E-Cell, IIT Bombay.

Boeing BUILD 2.0 Regional Finals was held at SINE IIT Bombay. Four teams were selected by the jury for the National Finals.

 

The National Finals was held in Bengaluru over a period of 3 days which comprised round table discussions, fireside chat, factory visit, and pitching to the jury.

 

SINE conducted a hybrid event at IIT Bombay in association with the Wadhwani Research Center for Bioengineering (WRCB) on Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC) funding opportunities.

 

SINE, in partnership with Defence Innovation Organization DIO – iDEX, conducted a virtual session on ‘Latest trends and Challenges in Cyber Security’.

 

The speakers provided insights about the 9th cycle of Defence India Start-up Challenge and highlighted the important aspects of writing proposals.

SINE in partnership with GVFL hosted a closed-door pitching event 'GVFL Startup Sprint' at IIT Bombay. The event saw participation from multiple VCs like 100X, IAN and Mumbai Angels. Three SINE startups, viz. WonderLend Hubs, Ostic Pharma and Endimension also pitched during the event.

 

 

SINE joined hands with financial firm, New Frontier Capital (NFC), Japan, to fund early-stage innovations and to work on cross-border startup engagements between India and Japan.

SINE partnered with Mazumdar Shaw Medical Foundation (MSMF) TBI, a corporate hospital-based start-up incubator. The collaboration is to facilitate the co-incubation of startups between MSMF and SINE.

 

SINE collaborated with SSN Incubation Foundation (SSN iFound) to provide access to a network of mentors, consultants, speakers, investors.

 

SINE and the State Bank of India have inked an MOU to form collaborative working partnerships to improve the Indian startup ecosystem.

Cipla Ltd, an Indian multinational pharmaceutical company, visited SINE IIT Bombay for exploring synergies and strategic partnerships with SINE. The officials interacted with SINE startups in medical devices and diagnostics domains.

A Netherlands delegation from Sogeti, a subsidiary of global IT leader Capgemini visited SINE to understand different technologies our startups are working on and for potential collaboration in co-innovation and go-to market opportunities.

Representatives from Washington University in St. Louis, School of Medicine, visited SINE to discuss synergies and provide support and opportunities to incubated healthcare startups.

 

SINE's international partner Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI), Taiwan team visited to explore expanding the scope of engagement to Indian healthcare industry. As part of the visit, they engaged with our startups in the healthcare domain, viz. Haystack Analytics and Lifespark Technologies.

Delegates from Innovation Saskatchewan, a Government Agency in the province of Saskatchewan, Canada, visited SINE to explore possible collaborations with SINE in terms of joint incubation or partnership.
