On April 15, 2024, SINE marked a significant milestone - 20 years of fostering innovation and entrepreneurship as a 'Technology Business Incubator'. To mark the occasion, a small cake-cutting ceremony with longest-serving employees was held.

Awards and Accolades: SINE Startups

Choira, a musictech startup, won the 'Global Startup Award' at Sushi Tech Tokyo 2024, held in the month of May. Sushi Tech Challenge 2024 awarded startups around from globe.

TriNano Technologies, a solar energy startup, won the 2^nd Price award for World Decarbonization Challenge at Vivatech Paris.

Ayati Devices, a medtech startup, has been recognized as the 2nd runner up in the Growth Category at the Matrix Startup Awards 2024.

Albatross Energetics is among the 10 Cleantech winners of the 6th Facility for Low Carbon Technology Deployment (FLCTD ) Innovation Challenge.

EcoRatings, a cleantech startup, won the Digital Responsibility Award for Business Empowerment at the India Digital Summit 2024

SINE in partnership with MeitY Startup Hub and Inc42 Media organized 'Investor Connect Programme', at SINE IIT Bombay.

Brought together a mix of potential 22 investors and 10 startups supported by MeitY, the event served as a platform for a meaningful engagement and interaction among all stakeholders.

SINE in partnership with Google for startups conducted 'AI Day for Startups' at IIT Bombay.

Prasad Shetty, VP of Portfolio & Operations, SINE IITB, shared an overview about SINE, Farish CV, shared insights on Google for startups offerings,.The Panels of the event, Harshit Tahiljani, Ridhi Kanoria Doongursee, Farish CV, along with the Moderator, Aditya Khodke , discussed about the 'Trends in AI'.

Also, Sourabh Jain, the speaker of the session, delved into the introduction of Gemini and gave a tour of Gemini Code Assist for developers.

SINE conducted the 6th cohort of SINE START (Startup Training to Achieve Right Target) - Bootcamp for early-stage innovators.

The primary aim of this program was to furnish innovators and founders with the essential knowledge and skills crucial for initiating their startup journey.

Spanning over a period of 5 weeks with a total duration of 30 hours, this intensive program catered to the needs of 16 startups, providing them with invaluable insights and guidance. Throughout the bootcamp, 13 experts and entrepreneurs shared their knowledge through insightful sessions.

GCC Conclave - Mumbai Edition organized by EY. This flagship event delved into the pivotal trends and pressing topics shaping today's GCC landscape.

During the fireside chat with Mr. Aniket Deshpande, Mr. Shaji Varghese, CEO of SINE IITB, spoke on "How can GCCs leverage partner ecosystem to drive innovation and transformation". He shared insights about how industry can collaborate with IIT Bombay and its incubator SINE IIT Bombay to drive innovation.

SINE hosted a roadshow, "Velocity: Fast Track your Startup Funding", a deep-tech accelerator program at IIT Bombay.

Mr. Ranjeet S. & Sunil k Shekhawat (Dr), speakers of the session, interacted with deep-tech startups and provided insights to attendees on how to improve their chances for the program. Additionally, the speakers reviewed startups' pitch-decks and shared their invaluable feedback.

SINE hosted a session on the "Compliance while Finalizing Investment" delivered by Mr. Shubham Sandeep, pi Ventures.

Mr. Shubham Sandeep, shared invaluable insights on critical aspects of term sheets, investment agreements, and valuation during the investment process.

SINE in collaboration with Microsoft & Azure Society of Excellence powered by ID8NXT, hosted an 'Azure Open AI' session.

Mr. Sameer Mhaisekar provided insights into the integration of Azure Cognitive Services with OpenAI. Also, showcased demonstration on how to seamlessly utilize these cutting-edge technologies.

The ICICI Foundation for Inclusive Growth leadership team visited SINE with the primary objective of fostering engagement and facilitating interactive sessions with the supported startups. During the interaction, the team shared their expertise to these budding entrepreneurs.

SINE organized an insightful workshops titled "IP Clinic," featuring Mr. VIKAS J & Mr. Arjun Bala. They actively interacted with SINE startups, providing them with valuable guidance and expertise on intellectual property matters.

Capacity Development Program was conducted for Incubator managers, faculty In-charge, and CEOs of DST-NIDHI-iTBI Incubators from Tier 2/3 cities across the country at KIIT-Technology Business Incubator, Bhubaneshwar.

Mr. Prasad Shetty, VP of Portfolio & Operations, SINE, conducted a masterclass on "Defining Policies Relating to Incubation - Physical, Virtual, Hybrid, Funding, Team Motivation, and Mentoring." The following day, he engaged with participants on the topic "Revenue and Expenditure Planning" and "Infrastructure Setup and Budgeting."
